BismillahirRahmanirRahim

This is the first part of a series of photo blogs we will post for each week of Ramazan, showing life at the Dergah and how we spend these holy days and nights with our Sheykh Lokman Efendi Hz. Ramazan Mubarek Olsun  to the entire Ummati Muhammad AS!

It is always amazing to feel the change in the air when Ramazan arrives: not only are we relived that the shaytans are locked up and the gates of hell are closed,  but we can feel the blessings and mercy of Allah SWT raining down upon the earth for the sake of His Holy Prophet AS. The dergah has been prepared for this holy month with lights and decorations. Everyone can feel the joy and anticipation of Ramazan.

Sheykh Lokman Efendi HZ always speaks to us about making sure we keep the Muslim identity of our children strong and help them in every way to love Islam. Part of that is making holy days special with extra excitement, decorations, activities and special duas and actions. One way that we do this at the dergah is having a fireworks display to celebrate the opening of Ramazan, marking it as a big event and something to commemorate. Everyone loves to see the sky light up and especially the kids cannot contain their excitement! Ramazan Mübarek!!!
